Baton twirling is a sport that uses a metal rod that has rubber ends to perform tricks and routines. Baton twirling is commonly found in high school and college where they are affiliated with the band. There are different levels of competitions: states, regionals, nationals, and worlds. There are different levels and age groups, too. There are many benefits to twirling where you build hand-eye coordination, time management, and leadership skills!
Many opportunities are on the way for our twirlers. By year 2020 we're hoping to have formed a competition team! We'll have all different levels and age groups. Its a great experience to learn sportsmanship, team bonding and college level twirling. As we structure all the ins and outs of our competition team, we'll later have auditions for any and all twirlers interested.
